The Star

Under a sky of one great yellow star and seven white ones, a woman kneels bare at the water's edge, pouring from two jugs — one onto the land, one into the pool. An ibis perches in the tree behind her. Everything about the image is unguarded.

★ Upright

The Star is what remains after the Tower: hope with its armor off. Upright, it brings healing, renewed faith, and a period of calm generosity where you can pour freely without running dry. It often follows crisis and confirms you are on the mended path. Aim at the big star and keep walking.

♺ Reversed

Reversed, the water is being poured onto sand — discouragement, faith run empty, effort that feels pointless. The stars have not moved; your view of them is blocked. This inversion calls for the small disciplines of hope: rest, honest company, and one poured cup at a time until the current returns.
